With an innovative approach, the new summer exhibition at the Var Departmental Exhibition Center in Draguignan, Fantômes (Ghosts), offers a wide variety of representations of ghosts from around the world and across cultures, as well as the beliefs that surround them.

Thanks to the participation of numerous Parisian museums, other French and foreign museums, private collectors, and the Anthropology, Archaeology, and Biology Laboratory, nearly 300 objects are on display.

“Fantômes”, Hôtel départemental des expositions du Var, Draguignan, until 28 September 2025.

The exhibition includes three works by Christian Boltanski: “Les Ombres” (1984), ‘Monument’ (1986) and “Reliquaire” (1989) from the collections of FRAC Bourgogne, MacVal and CNAP.
