“This exhibition deliberately makes such blurriness a key that opens another interpretation of a whole area of modern and contemporary visual creation. Initially defined as “loss of distinctness”, blurriness has shown itself to be the favourite means of expression in a world where instability reigns and visibility is clouded.”
Two works by Christian Boltanski from the Collection de Bueil & Ract-Madoux are on display:
-Ecole de Grosse Hamburgerstrasse (Les enfants cachés), 2005 , Oil on black and white silver print, 126 x 162.5 cm
-Lost, 1995, wrought iron biscuit tin containing a unique object, a print, and a certificate, 12.7 x 21.59 x 23.5 cm, Ed. 26/50
