The exhibition Musée sentimental explores a fundamental aspect of 20^th-century art history: the practice of collecting among artists and its integration into their creative process.

Presented at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, this exhibition brings together, in an exceptional display, modern and contemporary works from the three partner public institutions and offers a journey through various—and at times highly unique—approaches to the practice of collecting by some sixty artists and collectives from the 20^th and 21^st centuries.

The exhibition includes the installation La Vie impossible de C.B., as well as the Vitrine de référence, both from the MNAM-Centre Pompidou Collection.
