The concept of \u2018play\u2019 and its analogy with \u2018life\u2019 are at the basis of this curatorship, expanded across different spaces within the BIENALSUR cartography. It also echoes Julio Cort\u00e1zar’s Rayuela, which, with its novel, established a new logic and another type of reader.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As in the book and the game from which it takes its name, visitors are invited to choose a path by playing with the selected artists, getting involved and accepting the challenge that each work proposes. These choices will modify each person’s perception and \u2018adventure\u2019 \u2013 the game \u2013 marking, as in life, the singular but also the encounter with the other.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This project is part of the Let’s Play \/ Juguemos en el mundo (Let’s Play in the World)<\/em> programme, which is taking place at the Arab World Institute (Paris), Lugar Comum (Salvador de Bahia), MUNTREF Centro de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo <\/a>(Buenos Aires) and the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas (Madrid), among other venues.<\/p>\n
